Cutthroats Come Back Late to Clip Aces
The 2019 season began for the Las Vegas Aces with a loss to the Denver Cutthroats at Caesers Palace Colosseum. The final score was 5-4. Denver right fielder Po-sin Zheng had a fine performance.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Manny Salcedo? The 28-year old first baseman Salcedo stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put Denver up, 5-4. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

Denver manager Tyler Montgomery was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
