The Detroit Motors got a superb performance from pitcher Josh Van Leuven, but the San Francisco Peanuts still won the game, 6-4. Van Leuven threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. The save was Rafael Martinez's, his 7th. After today's action, San Francisco sits at 31-20, while Detroit falls to 25-26.

San Francisco needed the clutch hitting of Bryan Norlander to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Peanuts on top, 5-4. For the game, Norlander had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
