Knights Get Dramatic 4-3 Win
|
The Los Angeles Knights wiggled past the St. Louis Lions, 4-3, at Camelot. The win was highlighted by the performance of Los Angeles pitcher Corey Martin. Los Angeles reliever Buddy Hofman, who is tied for 6th in the PBC in wins with 10, was credited with the win. His record goes to 10-1. Jack Reynolds took the loss for St. Louis. The victory puts Los Angeles at 27-46.
The decisive blow was delivered by Ghi-cheng Luo in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off 2018 Rookie of the Year Award winner Jack Reynolds to win the game for Los Angeles. The home crowd went nuts.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said St. Louis manager Leo Cruz.
