Blues Losing Streak at 6 After Extra-Inning Loss to Union
The Chicago Union downed the New York City Blues, 9-6, in 14 innings at Blues Field. Danny Falchonelli led the way, going 4-for-7 for Chicago. The losses continue to mount for New York City, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

Chicago used the clutch hitting of Brian Gilmour to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the 14th inning to give the Union the lead, 8-6. For the game, Gilmour had 2 singles and 1 double in 6 at-bats.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Falchonelli. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
