Schuerger Spins No-Hitter Against El Paso
St. Louis Lions starter Kevin Schuerger came up big at The Lions Hearth with an exceptional 3-1 win against the El Paso Diablos. Not only did he whip them, but Schuerger held them hitless, too.

"My arm was a bit sore in warmups," confessed Schuerger. "Sometimes you go out there and you're not feeling all that hot. You get into the game and all of a sudden in the seventh inning you look up and see the scoreboard and think to yourself, 'Oh, my goodness, I have a no-hitter!' You're so focused on what you're doing, it just happens."

In the course of the no-hitter, Schuerger collected 11 strikeouts and surrendered 1 walk -- a day good enough to get his name in the history books.

So far this season, Schuerger has a 12-2 record with a 2.37 ERA.
