Warriors Score Late, Upend Motors, 11-7
|
Behind the hitting of David Osterloh, the Washington Warriors stopped the Detroit Motors, 11-7. Osterloh was 2 for 3 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Warriors. Washington, now 12-23, holds down 8th place in the PBC East Division.
Washington went up, 8-7, on Elijah Watson's 5th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Watson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Detroit pitcher Anthony Anderson feeling deflated.
"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Osterloh, "one at-bat at a time."
