Glassey Blisters Brooklyn Monday, July 23rd , 2018 Long Beach center fielder Jake Glassey had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the Brooklyn Atlantics at Atlantics Ballpark as the Titans picked up a win, 24-3. "He was patient up there," Long Beach skipper Jimmy Herman told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Glassey has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Jake Glassey hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Morgan Johnson in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, walked in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
