Southern California Advances to SPBC Classic Series Saturday, October 6th , 2018 The Southern California Empires out-dueled and outgunned the Mexico City Aztecas in the Circuit Championship Series and are on to the next round. Southern California won the final game 5-4 at Empires Stadium and the series 4-1. Greg Collopy was named series MVP for a strong offensive performance during the Circuit Championship Series. He had a .467 average with a .619 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 6 runs. "I was seeing the ball well and glad to help my team out and get us to the SPBC Classic Series," he said.
