Southern California Advances to SPBC Classic Series
|
The Southern California Empires out-dueled and outgunned the Mexico City Aztecas in the Circuit Championship Series and are on to the next round.
Southern California won the final game 5-4 at Empires Stadium and the series 4-1.
Greg Collopy was named series MVP for a strong offensive performance during the Circuit Championship Series. He had a .467 average with a .619 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 6 runs.
"I was seeing the ball well and glad to help my team out and get us to the SPBC Classic Series," he said.
The SPBC Classic Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Circuit Championship Series finishes.
