Brown Goes 5-for-5 Saturday, September 15th , 2018 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Kevin Brown is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Boston Shamrocks at Boston Commons. The monster effort from the 31-year-old right fielder helped the Philadelphia Keystones get the win, 8-2. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Shamrocks manager Wally Christensen. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Kevin Brown singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. This season, Brown has banged out 84 hits in 300 at-bats for a .280 average with 9 home runs. He is getting on base at a .369 pace and his totals also include 40 RBIs and 46 runs scored.
