Miami, El Paso Agree to Trade Sunday, August 26th , 2018 The Sun Sox and Diablos pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 27-year old 1B Jalen Brooks, 20-year old minor league 3B Jeremy Barnes, and 18-year old minor league 3B Angelo Mendivil head to El Paso in exchange for 27-year old 2B Jonathan Rhodes. A source close to Miami officials said, "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." Rhodes is hitting at a .379 mark this season. His stats show 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has played 21 games for the Sun Sox. |
