Houston's Ramos Reaches 1000 Hits Friday, August 24th , 2018 Nate Ramos of the Houston Mavericks earned his membership in the exclusive 1000-hit club this afternoon at Trident Field. The 34-year-old shortstop got his milestone hit in the Mavericks 8-5 triumph over the Chicago Union. Ramos went 3-for-4 for the game.
