Philadelphia Hurler Tops in Pitcher of the Year Award Voting Tuesday, November 6th , 2018 The Philadelphia Keystones have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Brandon Beech, this year's Professional Baseball Circuit Pitcher of the Year Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Beech compiled a 12-6 record in 22 starts, tallied 177 strikeouts in 168.1 innings and recorded a 2.94 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .214 batting average against him. He received 12 first place votes out of a possible 18. Mark Brown of the Miami Sun Sox finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Carlos Correa of the Atlanta Pilots finished third.
