El Paso Moves on to Pro Circuit Cup Tuesday, October 16th , 2018 Professional Baseball Circuit pundits who figured the Cup Qualifier between the El Paso Diablos and San Francisco Peanuts would go the distance were right on the mark. The two teams battled back and forth in a spirited series, with El Paso coming out on top thanks to a 11-6 win in the deciding game at Inferno Field, to wrap things up 4-3. "You get to the last game and anything can happen, so we're overjoyed to come out on top," said Diablos center fielder Ryan Burton, who was named series MVP. For the series, Burton had 14 hits for a .467 average. He had 0 home runs, 2 RBI and scored 9 runs. The Pro Circuit Cup matchups and schedule will be announced after the Cup Qualifier finishes.
