Tampa Bay Won't Make Playoffs Friday, September 28th , 2018 Ray McKay, the manager of the Tampa Bay Thunder, said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying. Tampa Bay last appeared in the postseason in 2012. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 19-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Thunder have made the playoffs 6 times. Tampa Bay has won the Pro Circuit Cup 2 times in their history. |
