Play-in Series Game 1 Victory for Beech and Philadelphia
The Philadelphia Keystones started the Play-in Series in style, downing the visiting Las Vegas Aces at Keystones Stadium by a score of 5-3 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Keystones right-hander Brandon Beech threw 8.1 innings allowing 3 runs.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Robby Johnson was at the plate when Philadelphia scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Keystones to go in front, 4-3.

"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Beech.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Keystones Stadium in Philadelphia.
