The Chicago Union topped the Los Angeles Knights, 5-3, in Professional Baseball Circuit action at Trident Field. The standout performance belonged to Chicago pitcher and Laval, Canada, native Jean-Sébastien Bellot. The winner was Bellot. He threw 8.2 innings allowing 3 runs. The loser was Alex Ocampo. Chris Iverson nailed down his 6th save.

Chicago took a 4-2 lead on Steve Morgan's 7th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Morgan hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Los Angeles pitcher Alex Ocampo visibly frustrated.

"I liked the focus, I liked the effort," said Union manager Ron Chiu.
