Cutthroats Come Back Late to Top Knights, 7-4
Camelot was the site of the home opener for the Los Angeles Knights. The contest featured a prime matchup between Kyle Fox of the visiting Denver Cutthroats and Jorge Ramos of the Knights. The final score was 7-4, the Cutthroats getting the win. Jorge Ramos turned in the best performance. Greg Morris snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Buddy Hofman suffered the loss.

Denver used the timely hitting of Victor Chavez to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Cutthroats on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Chavez.
