Brooks Slugs Sun Sox to 8-5 Win

Conditions were not ideal but Miami and El Paso were able to put their game in the books.
Miami first baseman Jalen Brooks was instrumental in helping the Sun Sox triumph, 8-5, over the El Paso Diablos. Brooks slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Miami is now 23-33, El Paso 41-15.
Jose Cruz, who is tied for 5th in the PBC in hits with 74, chipped in a run-scoring single for Miami in the bottom of the third. For the game, the catcher had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
