Knights Snatch Late-Game, 3-2 Win
The Los Angeles Knights had to overcome a good performance from New York City pitcher Leo Canales to claim a 3-2 win at Blues Field. Canales went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Los Angeles pitcher Jorge Ramos got the win, upping his record to 6-9. Andy Colon got the loss. Buddy Hofman locked down his 8th save.

Los Angeles needed the clutch hitting of Yao-pang Ching to seal the deal. The catcher swatted a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Knights on top, 3-2. For the game, Ching had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Tough loss," said New York City manager Jay Bourne. "But we'll rebound from it."

Despite the win, the Knights have a lousy 20-45 record.
