Multi-HR Game for Saldana in 8-6 Win
The Washington Warriors powered past the Denver Cutthroats, 8-6, at Warriors Park. Raul Saldana was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice, to lead the charge. The winning pitcher was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Julio Fernandez Jr.. He tossed 88 pitches over 5 innings, allowing 5 runs on 12 hits. The Warriors, at 19-25, inhabit 6th place in the PBC East Division.

Saldana contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Washington in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 4-3, Saldana took a sinker from Malachi Shells and stroked the home run to right. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Warriors to leap in front, 6-4.
