Diablos Take Nail-Biter Over Blues
The El Paso Diablos cut down the New York City Blues by the score of 5-4 in 11 innings. Much of the credit went to center fielder Ryan Burton. Burton was 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 for the Diablos. Luke Dickerson, who finished 5th in the PBC in saves with 16 in 2014, earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. El Paso has run its win streak to 5 straight.

The decisive blow was delivered by Bob Pfeiffer in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old left-handed pitcher Mike Sunshine to win the game for El Paso. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Pfeiffer said.
