Shamrocks Win in Glorious Fashion, 4-0
|
Dave Slaughter was nothing short of phenomenal for the Boston Shamrocks. The 25-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the New York City Blues, 4-0. Boston has a record of 14-16, placing them 6th in the PBC East Division.
Boston got a clutch hit from Danny Santa Cruz. The pinch hitter launched a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.
Said New York City manager Jay Bourne: "They pitched the heck out of us."
