The 6-2 Dallas win over Las Vegas was due largely to Tyler Beanblossom. The Texans third baseman went 4-5 with 4 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Ryan Brandwein picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-4. He struck out 5 in 5.2 innings. Adel bin Mustafa collected his 1st save.

It could have been a different outcome for Dallas, had it not been for Edgar Gonzalez, the 25-year old catcher . Gonzalez contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Dallas up, 3-2.

"They had a good approach," Las Vegas skipper Casey Lyman said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."

Dallas is 6th in the PBC West Division with a record of 13-15.
