The Los Angeles Knights racked up a win at Camelot, bumping off the New York City Blues, 5-4. Alex Ocampo, who started for Los Angeles, pitched effectively for his team. Buddy Hofman got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 3 runs on 6 hits in 2 innings. The Knights, with only their 2nd win in 15 games, have not had much to write home about in 2018.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Bobby Ramos in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old left-handed pitcher Mike Sunshine to win it for Los Angeles and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"Both teams played hard," said Los Angeles manager Steve Finley.
