They have just concluded a trade with 23-year old 2B Marcello Blythe and 19-year old minor league 3B David Vallecillo going to Edmonton in exchange for 26-year old RHP Pedro Valdovinos and 20-year old minor league C Eibe van Vugt. Blythe boasts a career batting average of .247 with 151 hits, 13 homers and 69 RBIs. During his career, Valdovinos has 26 wins and 27 losses and a 4.24 ERA. |
