Albany-Newark Announce Swap Thursday, December 7th , 2017 Signed ... sealed ... and delivered. Albany has worked out terms of a deal to send 26-year old RHP Andy Alexander to Newark for 21-year old minor league LHP Justin Belcher, 24-year old RHP Sal Torres, and 23-year old minor league C Carlos Ortega. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week. During his career, Alexander has a 29-43 record. He has 602 strikeouts in 580.1 innings and has made 143 appearances, picking up 20 saves and posting a 4.64 ERA. |
