Edmonton-Hamilton Deal: Garcia for Vizcarrondo Tuesday, November 14th , 2017 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Drillers and Tigers have agreed to a swap. Hamilton will get 27-year old SS Nick Davis and 19-year old minor league RHP Rich Garcia with Edmonton receiving 17-year old minor league 2B Ivan Vizcarrondo and 21-year old minor league 2B George Gomatos in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. |
