Pitcher of the Year Award Announced, Winner is Castetter Thursday, November 2nd , 2017 Vacaville's Brian Castetter took home the 2017 Western Semi-Pro Circuit Pitcher of the Year Award earlier today after a remarkable season on the mound. With a record of 17-4, Castetter was certainly a worthy winner. He made 32 starts and posted 207.1 innings, 191 strikeouts and a 2.69 ERA. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Hector Cancio of the Green Bay Braves finished second in voting, while Darwin Harvey of the Vacaville Steelheads finished third.
