WSPC Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Sunday, October 29th , 2017 Southern California Empires closer Brian Farmer said he loves to come into the game when the outcome is in jeopardy.
He certainly did a good job of impacting his team's outcomes this season, as he has been named the winner of the 2017 Reliever of the Year Award for the Western Semi-Pro Circuit.
"There's no better feeling than running in from the bullpen with the game on the line and your heart pumping," Farmer said.
On the season, the Rochester, New York native had 24 saves in 60 relief appearances, 112 strikeouts in 105.2 innings and a record of 8 wins and 6 losses to go with his 2.47 ERA.
