Quebec City, Detroit Finalize Trade Saturday, October 21st , 2017 Everybody is overjoyed with a trade consummated today by the Quebec City Admirals and the Detroit Chargers. In the deal Quebec City got 33-year old LHP Owen Halsey from Detroit and dealt 27-year old 1B Donald Ricker and 24-year old minor league 1B Dany Blanchet to the Chargers. The general managers that made the swap are happy and the players are happy, too. One of the GMs commented, "This was a good swap for all concerned." Ricker has played in 322 games and is hitting .290 lifetime with 175 RBIs, 312 hits, 51 doubles, 2 triples, and 39 home runs. He has scored 156 times and stolen 11 bases. Since his debut, Halsey has marked up 16 wins and 11 losses and fashioned an ERA of 3.99. He has fanned 236 batters while pitching 261.2 innings. |
