Grizzlies Swap Velazquez to Senators for Ringer Friday, October 20th , 2017 The Grizzlies and Senators pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 27-year old LF Mario Velazquez head to Albany in exchange for 36-year old RHP Erik Ringer. A source close to Vancouver officials said, "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." As far as career numbers, Velazquez has compiled a .314 batting average and collected 260 hits, 36 home runs and 121 RBIs. So far in his career, the 36-year-old Ringer has put up a 4.33 ERA with 28 wins and 28 losses. |
