Steelheads Heading to SPBC Classic Series Sunday, October 8th , 2017 Fans of the Southern California Empires groaned when Aaron Jones stepped up to the plate in the Circuit Championship Series. And for good reason too, as the Vacaville Steelheads player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-2 series win over the Empires. The series was clinched tonight at Empires Stadium, with Vacaville coming out on top 5-4 in the deciding game. Jones's strong series included a .481 batting average, with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 7 runs. The SPBC Classic Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Circuit Championship Series finishes. View Boxscore |
