Carden Selected WSPC's Best Pitcher Sunday, October 1st , 2017 This month when the Edmonton manager wrote the name "Carden" on the lineup card, he was confident that he would get a good start out of him. Outing after outing in September Jon Carden took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 4-0 mark and 1.82 ERA in 4 starts, piling up 29.2 innings and 27 strikeouts and holding opposing teams to a .269 average. For his superb performance Carden was named the Western Semi-Pro Circuit Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. In 27 starts this season, Carden has gathered 13 wins while suffering 9 losses. He has pitched 186.1 innings, allowed 180 hits, struck out 191 and has a 3.96 ERA. |
