Vancouver's Horrocks Gets WSPC Player of the Week Monday, September 25th , 2017 In the twilight of his career, 35-year-old Ryan Horrocks of Vancouver recaptured some of the old magic last week and came away with the Western Semi-Pro Circuit Player of the Week Award. "I've been playing since I was a kid," Horrocks told reporters, "but you're never too old to feel the thrill of success." Horrocks outpaced the rest of the league's hitters last week, reeling off 9 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs, and 6 RBIs to stake his claim to the award. Hitting .302 to date, Horrocks has 23 home runs and 80 RBIs. He has played in 150 games. |
