Boston Eliminated from Playoff Contention Saturday, September 16th , 2017 Not even a torrid finish to the season can land the Boston Shamrocks in the playoffs now -- the Shamrocks were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Boston last appeared in the postseason in 2012. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 13 times in their 18-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Shamrocks have made the playoffs 4 times. |
