Salcedo, Johnson Receive 5-Game Suspensions Tuesday, September 5th , 2017 You would have thought you were at a hockey game yesterday at Cutter's Cove. A free-for-all broke out when Manny Salcedo of Denver and Mike Johnson of Houston rushed one another on the field and had to be restrained by umpires and teammates. Few blows landed, but it was enough for them to be ejected from the game. Today both teams received notification from the league office that the two players would be suspended for 5 games. Looking at his season stats, Salcedo has compiled a .194 batting average and a .242 on-base percentage, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 3 runs.
