Detroit Wins Play-in Series Friday, October 6th , 2017 The Detroit Motors out-dueled and outgunned the San Francisco Peanuts in the Play-in Series and are on to the next round. Detroit won the final game 6-5 at The Motor Yard and the series 3-1. Mike Beyers was named series MVP for a strong offensive performance during the Play-in Series. He had a .545 average with a .625 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 6 runs. "I was seeing the ball well and glad to help my team out and get us to the Cup Qualifier," he said. The Cup Qualifier matchups and schedule will be announced after the Play-in Series finishes.
