Burton Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, September 28th , 2017 Diablos center fielder Ryan Burton has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 3-for-5 in today's game against the Chicago Union. El Paso won the ballgame, 17-7. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Ryan Burton struck out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. Burton currently has a .318 batting average with 114 hits, 7 homers, 36 RBIs, 100 runs scored and a .410 OBP. |
