No Playoff Berth Coming for Washington Monday, September 25th , 2017 The playoff hopes of the Washington Warriors have been extinguished for the year. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2017 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the Pro Circuit Cup and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Warriors third baseman Pat Daniel. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2015. In total, the Warriors have missed the playoffs 6 times in their 18-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Warriors have missed the playoffs 0 times. Washington last won the Pro Circuit Cup in 2012. |
