Sad Sack Keystones Lose 8th Straight
The Philadelphia Keystones could not turn a fine performance from pitcher David Stewart into a win. Instead, the Tampa Bay Thunder prevailed, 5-3. Stewart threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Akihisa Shibuya was the winner in relief. His record is now 4-0. The losing pitcher was Kadidu Akinshegun. The Thunder have hit the ground running, raising their record to 7-3. While it's still too soon to talk about Tampa Bay hoisting their 3rd Pro Circuit Cup trophy, fans are getting excited about their strong start.

Frank Robinson delivered a big hit for Tampa Bay. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Thunder ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

Philadelphia manager Corey Anderson, after yet another defeat, remained upbeat. He said: "We're going to get out of this thing, we're going to come busting through."
