The 6-4 El Paso win over Los Angeles was due in large part to Aaron Shelby. The Diablos first baseman hit 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Won-keun Baek picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Luke Dickerson suffered the loss. The loss drops the Los Angeles record to a disappointing 4-6.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With El Paso trailing 4-3, Shelby jumped on a fastball from 35-year old right-handed pitcher Luke Dickerson and hit a 3-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Diablos had a walk-off win.

"This place went bananas," Shelby said.
