Francisco Olivaraz did a number on the Empires in the 11-10 Winnipeg victory -- and the number was 5. The Buffaloes first baseman banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Goldeyes Park to lead his club past the Southern California Empires.

"I felt good in the batter's box," he said. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done."

Francisco Olivaraz doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jesse Chauvette in the 4th, singled in the 7th, flied out in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.
