Boston right fielder Josh Olson made his presence felt in the 7-5 Shamrocks triumph over the Washington Warriors. Olson went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Chris Allen picked up the win in relief. Ron Clous took the loss for Washington. Sam Kiser was credited with the save, his 2nd in 4 tries.

Olson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-2 fastball from Ron Clous, he banged a grand slam home run to right-center, giving the Shamrocks a 7-5 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Olson.

"It feels good to get this one," Olson told the Boston Gazette.

The loss makes Washington 43-42.
