The Miami Sun Sox picked up a win at Sun Sox Stadium, dropping the Philadelphia Keystones, 5-0. Kevin Mooris, who finished 2nd in the PBC in wins with 15 last year, was the difference-maker. Mooris picked up the win for Miami, going 8.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 8-8. Philadelphia has now lost 4 in a row.
The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Sun Sox Stadium crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.
"That was a really good outing by Kevin," said Miami manager Barry Lolicht.
