The Houston Mavericks and Boston Shamrocks left the fans buzzing.

The Houston Mavericks got a superb performance from pitcher Luke Whalen, but the Boston Shamrocks still won the game, 7-4. Whalen threw 7.0 innings allowing 3 runs. The Boston win streak is now 3 games.

Ashton-Sandy Spring, Maryland-born Isaiah Bradley came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Shamrocks trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Boston on top.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Shamrocks manager Wally Christensen. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
