Peanuts Take Down Diablos, 7-6
The San Francisco Peanuts cut down the El Paso Diablos by the score of 7-6 in 14 innings. Much of the credit went to left fielder Vinny Rosas. Rosas went 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Peanuts. The Peanuts raised their record to 4-2.

The decisive blow was delivered by Matthew McCormick in the bottom of the 14th when he hit a solo home run off 26-year old left-handed pitcher Alex Johnson to win the game for San Francisco. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's a good feeling when you fight so hard and win," said Peanuts manager Chris Graham.
