Both teams had their chances, but the Philadelphia Keystones eventually prevailed.

Philadelphia left fielder Jerry Tobar helped his team beat the Los Angeles Knights, 5-4. Tobar went 3 for 4 for the Keystones. Paul George, 3-2, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings.

Had Phil Rasmussen not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Rasmussen hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Keystones.

Rasmussen said his team "played with focus and determination."

The win makes Philadelphia 21-29.
