Atlanta Pilots starter Bob James pitched a strong game against the Boston Shamrocks at The Hangar, leading the Pilots to victory, 5-4. The 7th-place Shamrocks have lost 4 straight games.

The decisive blow was delivered by Nate Davidson in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a solo home run off 29-year old left-handed pitcher Ryan Carden to win the game for Atlanta. The home crowd went nuts.

In postgame remarks, James simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
