The Philadelphia Keystones got a superb performance from pitcher Brandon Beech, but the Los Angeles Knights still won the game, 6-4. Beech threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Philadelphia has now lost 4 in a row.
Los Angeles used the timely hitting of Satya Ernalia to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Knights on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We've been playing some good baseball," Ernalia told the Los Angeles Today. "We're aggressive and focused on what we're going to do on the field and getting it done."
